Волонтерство дає мені можливість притупити шалений біль від побачених кадрів померлих, скалічених дітей та дорослих. Можна відбудувати мости та автобани, але яким подорожником вилікувати чиюсь душу?

Be brave like Ukraine – фраза, яка характеризує сучасну Україну та українців: усіх, хто захищає країну на передовій та в тилу, рятує собак, годує людей у підвалах, веде посівні роботи під бомбардуваннями… Україну неможливо перемогти. Ми виграли цю війну уже тоді, коли показали, що боремось за нашу незалежність та робимо це успішно.

Volunteering allows me to numb the insane pain that I feel after seeing photos of dead bodies, injured children and adults. We can rebuild bridges and highways, but how do we heal a soul?

Be brave like Ukraine is a statement that describes today’s Ukraine and Ukrainians: everyone who defends the country both on the frontline and the homefront e.g. saves dogs, feeds people hiding in basements, plants crops under bombings… It’s impossible to defeat Ukraine. We have already won this war by showing that we fight for our independence and that we are doing it successfully.
