This week we're introducing a new segment of the podcast called "Virge in Film" (get it??) where we'll be dissecting the portrayal of first times on the big screen. (Spoiler alert: Hollywood often gets it wrong). We're starting off with a BANG with the hit 1999 teen romantic drama, "Cruel Intentions," and our lovely guest, NYC comedian/writer Julie Mitchell. We delve into the insane lives of rich Upper East Side teens, virgin manifestos, coerced consent, sex as currency, and questionable step-sibling behavior. And yes, we go off on some tangents because this movie is a true roller coaster ride of high school angst and horniness.
