In this week's episode of The Student PhysioCast, I am joined by Lucy (@lucy_physiostudent) a 1st year student from the University of Winchester, Jordan (@Jhphysio_) a final year MSc student from Leeds Beckett University, Grace (@graceeelliot) a 3rd year student from Brunel University London and Jaanki (@Jaankikpatel) a 3rd year student from St George's University of London. Like the majority of university students throughout the country us physio students have had to adapt to virtual learning- We discuss our experiences- positive and negative and also tips we have learned over the last 13 months! To graduate as a physiotherapist you must have 1000 hours of clinical experience and so of course COVID interrupted or cancelled many of our placements, which meant the traditional placement style had to adapt. With a shortage of placements and the rise in digitising healthcare- virtual placements are certainly a thing of the future. We discuss our virtual learning experiences and also share tips for students who are assigned to one.
