Barrett Agent was born in Chicago, raised there and in Kenai, AK. He went to university in SoCal; graduated from Chapman University (Pre-Law); then moved to Phuket, Thailand; where he established a corporate team building consultancy which Barrett now runs remotely.

While private individuals have been doing very simplistic forms of online weddings since the late 90’s, nobody had ever offered such a service on a commercial basis (the only thing that came close was a totally text-based, free online service that is no longer operating). Barrett also took the whole process to a higher level by using broadcasting software and video call services such as Skype and Zoom to bring the couple and himself into a customizable virtual setting.

VOWs offers creative and open-minded couples an alternative way to celebrate their bonds, via real-time online wedding and renewal of vow ceremonies. Based on the amount of tears seen over the years, they are just as emotional as real life ceremonies!
