Learn about virtual reality and the future of it. Hey, everyone, welcome back to the podcast, please click subscribe. It'd be awesome if you did. Alright, let's get started. Today we're going to talk about virtual reality and the effects it's going to have on gaming in the future. So virtual reality is going to require some high powered systems. In the last podcast, we talked about augmented reality and how that's going to help real life. Madden games occur in the middle of field and people are just going to be like jacked all the time playing these games. So everyone's going to be like be an NFL player, virtual reality, I think kind of could be the performance based system, we're going to see that's going to deliver the most realism and power of any system. And that's why virtual reality is such a great thing because it brings on the power of a GPU, a dedicated system, and a 360 view that can't be seen anywhere. Now, I don't think it's true 360 right now, but eventually will be that type of fidelity, when you see virtual reality, virtual reality does need to get some more buy in, it's not there yet. And we need to see that buying occur from triple A developers for this technology to really take off. When Facebook bought Oculus that sent a message to the world that virtual reality was here to stay. And you had seen other game believe and try to get on the action and the neogeo. And all that taken back in the early 90s. Taking virtual reality and putting those headsets on but it just wasn't what it is today. And that is for sure. Because they didn't have the technology. But nowadays, we do have a technology, we have the computer systems to implement it. And I would say within five years, you're going to have just flawless virtual reality, that's going to really look great. from just a graphical perspective. Now we've seen PlayStation get on this action. We haven't seen a lot of other companies take this off. Besides the PC market. Well, there's a couple companies like HTC had their own. And then Oculus, which is bought by Facebook. So Facebook is really all in. When it comes to virtual reality. We even saw Samsung get on that action here, we're kind of producing a type of VR that you plug into your phone you put on your face, there's even some companies where you just go and you play top of the line virtual reality and you spend a day there playing virtual reality games. And that's, that's really that amusement park, I can see that taking off, it's going to take selling that atmosphere to people to cause people to want to go play virtual reality somewhere. But once you have an interconnected network of people who really enjoy it, who want to play together who want to see each other, I think you can have businesses built around the virtual reality concepts, especially if you add in haptic feedback, and stuff that normal people cannot afford. And you have an entire business built around this. It'd be a fun place to go to eat pizza, maybe have a few drinks, and play with your friends on a really high powered system for virtual reality. And if they can implement exercise virtual reality, I think that would take off too. I do think the systems have to get a lot smaller to take on the type of exercise that we're talking about here. We are not there yet. When it comes to those systems but exercise and virtual reality can you see like a boxing match and VR and beyond a punch, punch and kick and kick box and see if you can win the match. I would play that all day long. Like if you develop a good fighting game, put me in Street Fighter put me on Mortal Kombat and I would be so hooked to virtual reality that it won't even matter like I would be exercising all day long playing those games. Do that. And it would just be seriously virtual reality, Street Fighter type stuff, and you can really get in shape from kickboxing. And if you have something that motivates you to take on that extra
