Looking forward to Melbourne Esports Open, sharing thoughts on gaming culture, the Christmas potential of Quest, and being a Virtual Reality ambassador.
We're rebuilding Melbourne's VR community, and we need a home! So I took my new camera to the picturesque Library at the Dock and shared my thoughts on what every VR meetup needs. I'll share every step of the journey - this project is a perfect opportunity to put my talent and passion into practice. This video was planned in 2 minutes and shot in a single take. I'd love to get better at motivating and educating by speaking my mind with a warm and honest tone :D I like the calm and relatable speaking style of Jeff Kaplan (Overwatch, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYYDCFOTSO0 ) and the practical, positive and unpretentious style of Gary Vaynerchuk (VaynerMedia, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JnPTqmkZc0 ).
A one-hour interview with Sonya Haskins about virtual reality esports, community, health & wellbeing, hardware, events & Oculus Connect 6.
Participated in an event hosted by Innovation Bay in which Susan Wu discussed her history in technology investing, thoughts on humane and human progress. Asked her for her thoughts on Oculus as a company, VR as a technology to provide happiness, and advice for someone looking to move to Silicon Valley.
A chat with David Geisert from Coinflip Studios about Ninja Legends VR, the development process, working within the VR market, and managing player expectations. The show's first interview!
Today I asked entrepreneur and social media marketer Gary Vaynerchuk about the VR platform, the place of brands like Nintendo, and how new studios might emerge. Thank you to @GaryVee for his thoughtful and practical advice. Nervous, but playing my part in the growth of VR!
How did this happen?! Episode 2 is done and I've barely done any of the fluff I had on my to-do list... I'm just so psyched to get started! Hey, #virtualreality devs and players, get on Discord! How do you explain VR to family? Volunteering at game festivals is hard, and awesome. Keep on being supportive - even in little ways - they matter.
