As we build up to our first Alpha course starting on Sept 13th, here are some of the reasons why Alpha is integral to the life of bread. Firstly, it helps establish the culture of bread where everyone can experience the love, truth and power of God; and secondly, it is a vital part of helping the church grow. We are encouraging all of bread to do the course, and particularly to bring friends who don’t normally go to church. Alpha is about introducing people to the real living life-changing Jesus, in just the same way He introduces Himself to the world - not from a place of superiority but rather from humility. He it is who gives his very self to us - an abiding spring of life which fundamentally changes the human experience. He it is who uniquely meets our need for meaning and significance.
