Vision Australia Radio is proud to present the audio highlights from the Vision Australia National Reconciliation Week Kooyong Event from Tuesday 31st May 2022.

Along with a Welcome to Country and tree planting ceremony, this event was also an opportunity for Vision Australia to acknowledge the work and progress it has made in developing the Vision Australia Reconciliation Action Plan. This plan ensures that engagement and partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and organisations will be undertaken in a respectful, ethical and transparent manner and that Vision Australia will strive to foster a culture of inclusion and cultural awareness. We acknowledge and thank the special guests and local First Australian Elders who contributed to this event and pay our respects to Elders both past, present and future in maintaining their cultures, countries and their spiritual connection to the lands and waters and respects the genuine diversity and richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures across Australia.
