Vision Casting and Setting up your Goal Roadmap for Achievement!
On Wednesday’s episode, I had you do a reflection on where you are currently at and what you would want more of. Now that you’ve done that first step, we need to chat about how we get to the next steps and the longer term vision for where you are headed.
This my friends, is vision casting. With vision casting, we really want to think back to the areas of your life and career that you dove into Wednesday. Those areas you said you want to experience more of and that you are grateful for, the ideal goal would be to create opportunities to have more of those experiences in our life and career.
You have a destination you want to reach, now what? This my friends is where I love to introduce the concept of a road map. Think about it, when you are headed on a road trip, aren’t you following a map to help you navigate the path? Well your life and professional journey’s are no different. On episode 31 I did a full break down of goal setting that you can tune into and use my reverse engineering strategy to help you make goals that move the needle forward.
At the end of the day, you have to ask yourself:
What is it you TRULY desire? If money and time were not relevant, what would you do? Where would you go? Sometimes we hold on to fear because it seems like the safest option, but really, it only results in us getting STUCK in old and damaging habits. What if I told you that it doesn’t have to be this way?
