We are excited about this weekend- food trucks, welcoming new members, a brief survey…a fresh reminder of what God has called the church to be. When we are captured by the love of Jesus, His love begins to “compel” or drive us (2 Cor. 5:14)! We start to see the world from God’s viewpoint. There are many ways God can sharpen us and help us to be “ready” to give “…a reason for the hope that is in you.” (1 Pet. 3:15). This weekend I want to look “under the hood” and get a little more specific on what it looks like to be the church.
