    4. On Sunday, May 27, 1973 a group of 137 people responded to God’s challenge to form a new church with a mission of reaching and ministering to people in far South Austin.  The group first met at Crockett High School, then at Sunset Valley Elementary School.

    18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.     We exist to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

    Three things that cannot make a church, but can break a church: Location – Facilities – Finances

    1. Invest in planting three churches in the next three years in North American cities where the gospel is needed most.
    2. Invest in positioning Bannockburn as a haven of hope and healing for the hurting.
      3. 101 – Every Member
      201 – Leadership
      301 – Lay Counselors
      401 – Professional Counselors
    3. Invest in a multi-site expansion in Buda/Kyle.
    4. Invest in our campus facilities for future impact.
      • 115,715 people live within a 3 mile radius of our South Austin Campus.
      • Since 2000, our South Austin neighborhood (3 mile radius of our SA campus) has grown at a rate of 30% annually.
      • It is projected that our South Austin neighborhood (3 mile radius from our SA campus) will grow 10,000 people in the next five years.
