3 Things to Pull From Acts 2:

1. Devoted to a Different Way of Life

Acts 2:42

We say we want community, but we structure our lives toavoid it.

We crave deep relationships, but we keep ourselves busy and distracted.

We want to be known, but we fear being fully seen.

Jesus saved my life, but the church changed my life.

2. Marked by the Power and Presence of God

Acts 2:43

• Miracles happened at meals.
• Healing happened in homes.
• Breakthroughs happened in circles, not just in rows.
  

• We discuss theology, but we don’t expect transformation.

• We gather in small groups, but we don’t contend for miracles.
• We attend services, but we don’t walk in supernatural expectancy.

But a church without power is just another social club.

3. Radically Generous and Sacrificial

Acts 2:44-45

The world says, “Protect yourself.”

The gospel says, “Lay down your life.”

Acts 2:46-47

We want to honor the past but we have eyes for the future.
