Phil Ritchie is the Chief Technology Officer at Vistatec where he directs all Language Technology and Research and Development activities. Phil has a Batchelor of Science Degree and 20 years of industry experience. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events and a founding Industrial Partner of the ADAPT Research Centre, where he serves as Chairman of its Industrial Advisory Board. Phil has been a partner in two highly successful European Commission Projects and a member of several Technical Committees and Standards Groups including the W3C, Chairman of the ITS 2.0 Interest Group, Multilingual Web - Language Technologies, Linked Data for Language Technologies, Co-Chair of W3C RAX Group, and the XLIFF and XLIFF OMOS Technical Committees. Phil is the lead architect of the open-source Ocelot XLIFF Editor and JLIFF Graph Tools library and has been known to write the odd line of code when he has the opportunity!
