The Italian video artist, filmmaker, producer and publisher Ila Bêka is a part of the artist duo Bêka&Lemoine, whose films delve into the complex relationship between our daily lives and the built environment. Through their unique lens and experimental storytelling, they explore the nuances of human behaviour and spatial identities in architecture and urbanism. ‍ This episode is the second part of the interview, where we talk about how a documentary film can work as an ethnographic tool when conducting architectural research. Ila reflects on his experiences and filmmaking approaches which emphasize the ordinary habits of people in relation to contemporary architecture and urban environment.
