Vivo is an animated musical-comedy produced by Sony Pictures Animation. Songs for this film were written by Lin-Manuel Miranda who also voices Vivo.

The story follows Vivo a music-loving Kinkajou who must embark on a journey of a lifetime to deliver a love song for a friend.

I was bombarded with marketing for this film every time I logged onto Netflix, so I thought what the hay… Vivo is a very emotionally touching film. If you’re not a person that enjoys being in your feelings or if you like your animations fun-loving, joyous and silly, this may not be for you. There were quite a few times in this film where I was in my feelings on some really emotional scenes. It also didn’t help that I was watching this with my little one who is really sensitive about emotional scenes in movies.
