Having the ability to do a lot of things is not a problem. It's just a trait. And like every other one out there, has it's pros and cons. 
 
I believe multi-potentialites can explore ALL their interests in a single lifetime. They just shouldn't have the same expectations; time-wise. 
 
It's not impossible for Jack to master all his trades, it will just take a longer time.
