On today's Esports Minute, Mitch takes us through the first major esports tournament entirely being held over 5G internet. Vodafone and ESL have announced the Vodafone 5G ESL Mobile Open, a massive tournament being held at Milan Games Week on September 28th and 29th.

Tounraments will be held in Ashphalt Legends: 9 and PUBG Mobile, with $184,000 on the line between the two games. If this tournament is successful and esports organizers can move away from LAN settings, it will open up a ton more opportunities for unique esports events.
