Dr. Mary Blackburn grew up in the segregated south, the daughter of sharecroppers. In 1963, she received an offer to join a new Master's of Public Health Nutrition at UC Berkeley. The Rest is "her story". For 63 years, "Dr. B" served her community, enduring racism and sexism and paving a path for the next generation.
