In Germany, more than 145,000 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 as of April 22, making the country the third largest outbreak in Europe. In contrast to other countries in the European Region, Germany reports a markedly lower death rate than other countries in the region – which some of attributed to widespread testing across the country.
We spoke with German urologist Dr. Jens Rassweiler about what his country is experiencing and how it is impacting urology practice there.
