Today I’m talking to Rachael Devaney. Rachael was adopted from El Salvador in 1978. She recently reunited with her birth family and is now showing her photography exhibit Matriarchal Strength: stories of family separation and Indigenous survival at Bridgewater State University. The exhibit pairs photos with written and shared stories told to her by her 94-year-old birth grandmother. Here to talk about her exhibit, as well as her story of reuniting with her birth mother and more. Please welcome Rachael Devaney.
