In this interview, Alex Corbitt and Beth Shaum ask Olugbemisola about issues raised in her article related to diverse books, specifically how teachers can be more inclusive to help students better understand the lived experiences of others. In addition, Beth Shaum returns with a new segment of Voices from the Bookshelf in which she discusses the need for books that help address issues of social justice in the classroom.
