Every week, TDOC is blessed to have thousands of volunteers enter its ten prisons, facilitating a variety of programs aimed at helping to rehabilitate its offender population. They provide an invaluable service; one we are incredibly thankful for. So what compels someone to willingly enter one of our prisons and spend a few hours of their evening working with our offender population?

In the latest episode of The Mission podcast, Public Information Officer Rob Reburn sat down with Marshall Danby, Executive Director for New Life Behavior Ministries and a volunteer at the Northeast Correctional Complex, and asked him why he chose prison ministry and how he got involved at NECX, and what type of changes he’s seen in those offenders involved in his ministry.
