Vornado Air now recalls its Vornado VH2 Whole Room Heaters, lot codes JUL24 and AUG24. The power cord partially detaches from the heater enclosure, tends to fray over time, and creates a electric shock and fire hazards.
About 7,780 units were sold exclusively online through Amazon.com from August 2024 through October 2024 in Alabama, California, Florida, New York, Texas, Illinois, and other states.
Stop powering up these heaters immediately. Contact Vornado at 1-844-205-7978 or via the email [email protected] to confirm whether your heater is part of the recall and, if so, follow instructions to receive a free replacement.
