The units’s fan blade can detach from the motor shaft causing the fan to slow or stop, the developments of overheating, melting of internal components, and a fire hazard. Affected: model TYPE SRTH.
About 255,000 heaters were sold in the US and an additional eight were sold in Canada.at Kohl’s, Bed Bath & Beyond, ACE Hardware stores, and online at Vornado.com and Amazon.com from August 2013 through May 2026.
Stop using these recalled heaters. Contact Vornado at 1-844-205-7978 for instructions about how to submit photos of the product and proof of destruction in order to receive a full refund.
