After their first attempt at recalling Senator Robin Vos failed, the Racine Recall Committee is hoping that their second effort to gather enough signatures will be validated and start to move the petition process forward. In March, the Wisconsin Elections Committee unanimously ruled that the recall group’s organizers had fallen short in their first attempt to collect enough valid signatures.

On this morning’s 8 O’Clock Buzz, guest Kevin Scott, an attorney with the recall organizers, talks with host Tony Castañeda about the Recall Committee’s second attempt to gather the necessary signatures, and what happens if a determination is made that the petition is valid.

The recall effort is being led by conservatives who were angry with Vos for blocking the impeachment of Wisconsin Elections Committee Administator Meagan Wolfe, for his criticism of former President Trump and for his support of the Chinese Communist Party.
