The Voyagers changed our understanding of the solar system and inspired a new generation of explorers. In 2012, Voyager 1 became the first human-made object to leave our solar system. And even now, more than 40 years after launch, both Voyagers are still sending back data about their surroundings. It is truly incredible what voyagers have been able to discover in just 45 years of existence. Giving unprecedented views of planets, to the secrets of our solar system and beyond, there is so much that we have yet to explore. And with new technology, who knows what else we may find?
