वृक्षों में भगवान् पीपल क्यों हैं?

परमात्मा का स्वरुप अनूठा है जिसका वर्णन आसान नहीं है लेकिन जब कोई भक्त इस स्वरुप को जानना चाहता है तो गीता उसकी मदद करती है। श्रीमद भगवद गीता का अध्याय दस एक भक्त के अंदर की सारी भ्रांतियों को तोड़ देता है जो परमात्मा के स्वरुप के बारे में होती हैं। इसमें भगवान् श्री कृष्ण ने खुद को वृक्षों में पीपल बताया है लेकिन भगवान् ऐसा क्यों कहते है। सभी जानते है कि पीपल का वृक्ष पूजनीय है एवं इसमें कई गुण है लेकिन इस वृक्ष में ऐसा और क्या खास है जो भगवान् ने खुद को पीपल का वृक्ष कहा है?

The chapter 10 of the book removes all the misconceptions about the nature and form of God. In this chapter, Lord Shri Krishna has described himself as Peepal, among trees. But why does God say so. This is an interesting question. Everyone knows that Peepal or Sacred fig is revered, has many qualities and it’s an exceptional medicinal tree, but what is so special about this tree that God has called Himself a Peepal tree?
