Ever feel cringe just talking about your feelings? You're definitely not the only Asian person to feel this way. Many Asian heritages have a long-standing history of "controlling your emotions", which has also been glorified (think, samurai, riding off into battle). In our modern, multi-cultural society though, it's hard for some of us to explain where telling other people how we feel is more difficult because we were actually not NOT to express our negative emotions.
