In 1971, at the height of the Bangladesh liberation war, Tathyanweshi (Truth-Seeker) Vyom Bagchi is tasked with a covert mission: find a missing army intelligence officer. The trail leads him and his companion Sudhanshu to the remote, decaying Chandra Raajbaari—a gothic mansion ruled by a family with ancient, cold eyes.

From the moment they arrive, their polite welcome feels like a trap. Their door is locked from the outside at night , and the house itself seems to weep in the darkness . Vyom, a man of logic, must navigate a web of fear and lies, where the servants are too terrified to speak and a child hums a haunting, broken tune .

His relentless search for the truth leads him down a cryptic path—from a hidden message behind a portrait to a forgotten, unholy temple.

There, in the suffocating darkness, he unearths the first terrible secret of the Chandra Raajbaari. The search for the missing officer is over. But as he stares into the shadows, he realizes a new, dreadful mystery is just beginning. He now knows what happened... but the true horror lies in the question: Why?
