Luke 24:13-35            

The disciples journeyed purposefully with Jesus from the seashore to Jerusalem and witnessed His death on a cross. In the story of two disciples on their way to a little village outside Jerusalem, we see Jesus join in the journey sharing all that the Scriptures said about Him. The disciples' perspective of the events in Jerusalem is changed as their eyes are opened and they see Jesus Himself as their companion in the journey. Jesus is our companion in the journey following the Resurrection. We must keep our hearts open to see God and all that He would have us see in the daily journey of life.
