The gospels are filled with examples of exactly who Jesus loved. The Samaritan. The Tax Collector. The most despised. He wanted to be with them — he purposefully sought them out.

The mature Christians among us should be purposefully seeking out those kinds of people…. Yet if they stepped into our church seeking US out would they be given dirty looks? Or would we welcome them like Jesus did?
