In the inaugural episode of Black Coochie, co-hosts Ebony Walden and Lacette Cross introduce this new podcast and explain their motivations for creating a space for Black women to discuss sex and sexuality. The term "Black Coochie" is both a celebration of Blackness and an invitation to have honest conversations about sexuality and its intersection with spirituality with a focus on the unique experiences of Black women. Ebony and Lacette discuss their personal reasons for embarking on this project, including exploring their own sexualities as they enter their 40s and creating a community for Black women to want to live their best sex lives, healed, whole and free. They aim to break the silence surrounding Black women's sexuality and empower listeners to embrace their whole selves and experience pleasure. The hosts hope to inspire joy and liberation.
