Advent. It’s a season of anticipation. Specifically, it’s a time when we anticipate the birth of Jesus. But anticipation also involves waiting. It means the thing we are excited for, anxious for, hoping for, has not yet arrived. And if we’re honest, waiting can be hard.
But time and time again in the Bible, we see God using waiting. As it turns out, waiting can grow patience, waiting can create perseverance and waiting is essential in developing faith.
So this advent season, let’s open our hearts & set our minds to explore some of the mysterious and wonderful ways God has, can & will transform his people through…‘Waiting’.
