When we look for opportunities to help people, we might find that they complain about their struggle. Then we go out of our way to find some information or contact for them, only to find that they didn’t really want help. We might find that if we offer advice in that situation, they will actually get angry - they didn’t want to change anything about their actions, they merely wanted to express something about the situation they are in.

That is why many self-actualized people do not offer advice unless you ask for it, and even then they may be tentative, attempting to discern whether you really want to hear what they have to say.

You might imagine an angel or otherwise spiritually developed being, patiently waiting. Perhaps they have many things to do, but when someone prays to them in earnest, ready to receive their blessing… They will fly and run to assist.

Yes, the gurus, mentors and angels have all been waiting to help you. All you ever had to do was ask.
