If we're really present to the moment, then we are in touch with the spiritual meaning of waiting. Here he's not referring to our consumer experience of waiting but a deeper and more integral experience of reality. Our day-to-day meditation does teach us the waiting. In fact, the regular practice of meditation has a transformative effect on our lives. Even those who struggle with the discipline of meditation are aware of the transformative impact of meditation on their lives.
