It’s so difficult to find yourself in a desert place. On top of everything else, there’s often uncertainty – Have I missed God? Is He mad at me? Am I supposed to be doing something I’m not yet doing? While it is possible to miss God and end up in a rough spot, most likely, you are simply “Waiting on God.” Isaiah 40:31 gives us promise and hope that the time spent waiting on Him is not wasted time.
