Waiting on God can be one of the hardest things we do. Our hearts long for answers, for change, for healing, yet sometimes it feels like heaven is silent. But God is never absent—He is working in the waiting.
Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." Waiting is not about doing nothing; it is about trusting God, drawing near to Him, and allowing Him to prepare us for what's ahead.
God's timing is always perfect. When we rush ahead, we may miss His best. But when we trust Him, we find peace even in uncertainty. The waiting season is often the growing season—God is shaping us, increasing our faith, and teaching us to rely on Him fully.
If you are in a season of waiting, take heart. God sees you, loves you, and is working all things for your good. Keep praying, keep trusting, and rest in the truth that His plans are far greater than anything we could imagine.
Be still, and know that He is God.
