Waiting is counter cultural. There is nothing in our modern culture that encourages us to wait. It is however apart of God's culture and we don't need to fear that we have done something wrong or are being withheld from. Waiting is apart of Christian life and even though it is not popular.

Waiting on God is hard, but it is worship unto Him. Because waiting for him requires trust and faith in his voice, his word and his character! He considers it a breaking of the alabaster jar, washing his feet with a costly perfume.
