I'm still trying to find my sound. I like layering vocal octaves and the indie sound from songs in the game Life Is Strange. I wrote this while at a cabin off the Washington sound. There are close by islands, but all the water is from the ocean; the tides coming in and out make it resemble a river, inspiring the opening lyrics and the rest of the song. My talented gf inked out the art for this before she met me and I became memorized with it as I feel it fits the scenery and mood of this piece well.
