A Sermon for the Sixth Sunday after the Day of Pentecost

We don’t know many prophets, and Jesus rarely reclines in our living rooms, but we see the world around us. We probably see too much of the world around us. We’re inundated with a breadth of news headlines, but our sources rarely invite us to develop a depth of understanding of the world around us.
