Michael is a professional Mental Health Educational, Motivational, Inspirational, Humorous, and Helpful
Speaker, Performer, Keynote, Advocate, and Stand-Up Comedian with his own Workshop/Presentation
called THE 3 AMIGOS OF MENTAL HEALTH that he presents at conferences, clinics, hospitals and many
other organizations. He shares his own mental health story from discovery to recovery and recovery
to discovery everywhere!
He is an MHA trained and certified Peer Support Specialist and holds an Academy of Peers Services
Provisional Certificate as a New York State Peer Support Specialist.
Michael has taken his 40 Years of suffering and suffering in silence with his own mental illness and has
pursued recovery, staying mentally well for almost 6 years with his Recovery to Discovery and his many
types of wellness tools, in particular using humor as his the most significant tool to help and improve
everyone's quality of life! He uses his passion to help everyone with their own important mental health.
He makes it very Cool, Fun, Enjoyable, Relatable, Interactive, Engaging, Memorable, and Helpful to Talk
and Work on your Important Mental Health, Mental Health Challenges, and so much more!
Michael can Show and Tell how he got Mentally Well and STAYED Mentally Well and how he uses
Humor(Laughter and Smiles) to have Fun with your Mental Health without making Fun!
Michael has appeared on various TV, radio, podcasts, and video shows as well as many other mental
health-focused media educating, inspiring, using humor, and sharing his story of recovery and tips to
achieving mental wellness. He also starred in his own Mental Health Goalcast Video that has received
over one million views. He has written several articles in addition to his book The 3 Amigos of Mental
Health. Michael maintains his own YouTube channel and has presented his comedy on Stand -Up for
Mental Health numerous times.
Michael is currently a Peer Support Specialist/Assist Care Coordinator at St Vincent's Psychiatric
Hospital. He is a trained NAMI In Our Own Voice presenter and has also presented at the NAMI-NYS
Conference. He is trained and certified in the Mental Health First Aid program. He is a member of the
Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA), where he has also served as a speaker and facilitator.
He is also a STIGMA Free Zone Paramus member and speaker.
He has also developed a successful sales approach as a Product and Service Promoter (a snazzy way to
say Sales rep), with his own concept called: Follow Up and Service = Reputation ~ Reputation = Referrals
~ Referrals = Money $$$$$.
