How We Seeez It! Episode 330, Wake Up Dead Man
“You're right. It's storytelling. The rites and the rituals. Costumes, all of it. It's storytelling. I guess the question is, do these stories convince us of a lie? Or do they resonate with something deep inside us that's profoundly true, that we can't express any other way except storytelling?” — Father Jud
Another Knives Out movie. Rian Johnson brings back Daniel Craig as Benoit Blanc for another whodunit. Josh O’Connor is incredible as Father Jud, and Josh Brolin is great as Monsignor Wicks. It’s different in style from the other Knives Out movies, but it still brings some of the same flair that made the others so enjoyable. Join us for our discussion, and don’t forget about the cocktails for this episode. There should be some good ones.
As always, mix a drink, have a listen, and let us know what you think. And if there’s something you watched that you think we might enjoy, or a can’t-miss series, let us know. Also, please rate and review the show on your favorite podcast apps.
