Today I share my own story.  My story of running a marathon in August 2016 in honour of my dad on the very first birthday we celebrated without him. 

My story of gastric sleeve weight loss surgery in June 2019,  that was instigated by my fear of my mortality after the reality of losing my mother in November 2018 and my story of skin removal surgery just three short weeks ago.

I share how I constantly sabotaged my values, and what I did to address that and come through to the other side, the side where I finally get to live the life that I deserve. 

I am real, raw and honest about my feelings and what I did to overcome this addiction that captured me for way too long.
