SAL Early Head Start is a service available to parents of children before they go into typical Head Start and Kindergarten. Angela Casteel with SAL Community Services in Moline joined Wake Up TriCounties to talk about the benefits of Early Head Start for soon to be mothers, new mothers and kids through the ages of 3 and 4 years old about to enter into Head Start and Kindergarten. Early Head Start helps with Health, Development, Education, Nutritional Services, and Social Services on a needs assessed basis.
