Congressman Darin LaHood is running for re-election in the newly redrawn 16th Congressional District. Congressman LaHood last week brought his campaign to Annawan and Kewanee and stopped by WKEI for a conversation about OPEC and that group's decision to cut oil production by two million barrels per day. LaHood called the move by OPEC a slap in the face to the Biden administration which had worked on cultivating relationships in the middle east only to have the same Middle Eastern leaders cut oil production at a key moment for the global market. LaHood also discussed farm policy and the newly redrawn 16th district and what he's hearing from constituents new and old.
