Crossroads Cultural Connection is a new non-profit organization in the Henry County area that is working to bring even more live musical performances to Henry County. Tom Campbell and Carlin Follis are teaming up with Jason Bates and John Taylor, all frequent collaborators on the Levitt Amp Galva Concert Series, for a series of winter concerts that will take place each Sunday night at various venues in Henry County, specifically in Galva, Cambridge, and Bishop Hill. They are also looking for a regular venue in Kewanee in the future as the concert series rolls on. For now, the concerts, which also includes a pre-show potluck dinner beginning at 6 Pm, will emanate from the Bishop Hill Creative Commons with plans to take it on the road in the future. We spoke with Tom Campbell and Carlin Follis on Wake Up Tri-Counties on Tuesday.
