If you haven't heard, Relay for Life is now taking place t Northeast Park and will be a drive through event this year. This is due to COVID-19 guidelines from the American Cancer Society. That said, the drive thru Relay for Life will be just as moving and exciting as every other Relay for Life as those who drive through Northeast Park on Saturday, August 21st starting at 2 Pm will have the chance to bid on silent auction items and pay tribute cancer survivors who will be at the event. The best way to support Relay for Life is to purchase a Luminary. There are numerous local businesses that are selling luminaries this year including all locations of the State Bank of Toulon and Regional Media. Stop by the radio station between 9 Am and 3 Pm daily to pick up your Luminary order form. Luminaria cost $10.00 each or you can purchase a purple torch for $50.00. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society and non-profits that support cancer care.
