In this edition of Weather or Not, we have an AccuWeather Alert for storm threats on both days this weekend.

Lee Goldberg says the weekend won't be a total washout, but you should prepare for rounds of storms – likely in the afternoon and evening hours both days.

In addition to storms, extreme heat will linger for one more day on Saturday before temperatures ease a bit on Sunday.

Lee also has eyes on the Gulf of Mexico, where a tropical storm is expected to form this weekend.
