I once believed that being married meant I had 'made it' with my life. Great job - check. Great husband - check. I awoke each morning with a smile on my face, believing everything was as it should be - all good.

When I became a widow, I realized I was the one that made my life a 'success', and not how I originally thought it would be.

Happiness comes from within, not externally. Ever. Smiling now for the rights reasons: me.
