With 500-800 youths entering the job market yearly, Walioweza feature is a story of determination of a street boy popularly known as chokora who has achieved his dream of being an employer.
Eric Gate Munene is a former street boy who is into creative employment and successfully owns three companies that has employed 30 youths.
After being reformed, he tells his struggles to educate himself by undertaking all manners of menial jobs to study mechanical engineering.
He has supported some youths to complete secondary school at the same time offering them employment to establish their bearing. He also mentors and signs artists.
We hope that the story serves as a motivation to youths to always have a focus in their lives despite any obstacles to also dream of being employers and be part of the solution of joblessness in the country.
